Containment Consultants, Inc.,

d.b.a. Ideal Environmental Products & Services, was established in 1992. Its purpose is to manufacture, market and sell the Chem-Stor chemical storage product line, including fire rated and non-combustible units, and to distribute commonly used environmental compliance and material handling equipment. The Company delivers it’s products and services locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Incorporated in California in 1992 by Anne Anderson, Ideal Environmental is a HubZone, Certified Woman-Owned Small Business. Our manufacturing facility is located in Santa Clara County at 110 Old Gilroy Street, Gilroy, California 95020.

Ideal Environmental’s manufacturing facility occupies 12,000 square feet; 4,000 square feet of inside storage space and 27,000 square feet of outside storage space. The building is owned by the principals of Ideal Environmental.

Secondary Containment

Ideal Environmental is the sole manufacturer and sales force for the Chem-Stor chemical storage products. The patented product, manufactured since November, 1985 was the first of its kind introduced into the secondary containment market. These products are divided into two distinct types. The first is the secondary containment pallet. Our pallet is a portable platform fabricated from steel. Its top surface is a removable grate supported by the structure. Underneath the grate is a liquid tight sump area. The end user stores his/her primary containers on the pallet. The purpose of the containment pallet is to serve as an emergency reservoir in case the primary containers leak. They are available in a variety of sizes to fit the customers storage needs.

Due to its unique designed, the Chem-Stor Chemical Storage Building is a patented product, US Patent # Des. 302,309. This patent was issued in July of 1989 for a period of fourteen years. The Chem-Stor Building was the first secondary-containment building to utilize a roof mounted explosion relief design. This design allows internal pressure to be released through a roof-mounted vent directing all pressure upwards and into the environment. This process reduced the risk of damage to personnel and property.

First used in September of 1985, the Chem-Stor name is trademarked. First used in August of 1992, the Ideal Environmental name is trademarked.
